Electional Astrology for a Senior Citizen Marriage

When choosing a time for a marriage, you have to make the marriage chart fit the couple. This is a senior couple in their sixties. They have been together for a long time. They are happy not being married and would not be getting married except the woman needs health insurance. They allow each other their freedom and are fairly non-traditional. They love to talk and share, and have a lot of fun together. Their only issue is around money. The woman is not as financially well off as the man and this can cause a conflict.  

 

The woman had tried to do the marriage chart on her own. The first chart she showed me had Saturn conjunct the Ascendant, Uranus conjunct the descendant, and Pluto on the 4th house cusp. I asked her, "If you two love freedom so much why would you put Saturn on the Ascendant? The second chart she showed me had a VOC Moon. At that point I said, "You really do not want to get married, do you?!"   

 

For their marriage chart, I buried Saturn in the 12th house. I wanted to keep Uranus out of the 6th house because of their age. The bride needed health insurance as there was already a medical issue. I also wanted to keep Pluto out of the 2nd house of money since there was a money issue. They do not plan on having kids and their kids are fine with the marriage and everyone gets along. They like to have fun, hence Uranus in the 5th house. Because this is a marriage chart, I put the best planets in the 7th house. Note that the ruler of the Ascendant, Venus, is conjunct the ruler of the 7th house cusp. Jupiter is in the 6th for good health, but it also conjunct the 7th house cusp.
