The Sun moving through the succeedent houses is like a person standing up in a canoe. Either the boat is about to rock or it has just stopped rocking. Contrary to what one might believe, the succeedent houses of the Solar Return do not carry a fixed quality. Rather, they tend to be unstable, especially the 8th house. The succeedent houses are a time of transition.
11th - It seems that the succeedent houses start with the 11th house which is the house of “why not.” Change begins in the 11th house with the questioning process. Will you accept or reject certain rules, regulations, norms, and limitations, or will you look for something more appropriate or better.
8th - While questioning occurs in the 11th house, change occurs with the Solar Return Sun in the 8th house. This is the house of greatest change personally and professionally. Some will pick up and move across country.
5th - The changes that occur when the Solar Return Sun is in the 8th house, lead to greater creativity and self-expression when the Sun is in the 5th house. "To thine own self be true!" Recreate yourself.
2nd - You may be able to make money off of the changes you have made. The 2nd house is the most traditional and also the most stable of the succeedent houses. This house is also the end point for one cycle of change resulting restabilization.
